Saturday,
November 20, 2010, A FREE BREAKFAST OF PANCAKES, and an informational/fundraiser for Parkinson’s disease.
Pancakes
for Parkinson's was founded in 2004 with the idea of communities coming together, to share a free breakfast, learn about Parkinson’s,
and help make an indelible mark on the international fight against the Disease. Pancake’s events are held across the
country – on college campuses - and facilities of every kind, and the events have been featured nationally, on NBC News,
CBS Early Show, and USA Today. Pancake’s
founder, Mary McNaught Yonkman, even flipped pancakes on the national syndicated Rachel Ray TV Show.
Representatives from PRF and SEPDA (Southeast Parkinson Disease Association)
will be on hand to answer questions and hand out important material.
All donations go directly to Parkinson’s Research!
The event was a great success raising over $700 for PRF and research.
Special thanks go out to Dan Beckmann, Annie Robinson and Samantha Hochberger for serving up the pancakes and helping
us raise awareness about PD. Watch out for more events in 2011...
